The Stokehouse has been a Melbourne (St Kilda) foodie haven for over 20 years and the owners have hand picked Brisbane as their next destination!! Another one to add to our ever growing list of southern restaurateurs choosing us!! (Aria & Sake have already taken up residence in the sunshine state)
The Van Haandel group who owns The Stokehouse also own some pretty amazing restaurants -namely Ladro, Comme, Cutler & Co. (just took out Australias BEST resturant in the Gourmet Traveller 2011 awards), and Mr Tulk. These are seriously some of Australia's finest and coolest eats!
I am very very keen to have a little slice of this foodie institution on our doorstep! Yip Yoo!
